I.B. Abel is pleased to announce the company has won several 2022 Project Excellence Awards given this year by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

The association created the Project Excellence Awards (PEA) to recognize electrical contractors who have performed industry-leading, exceptional work during the previous calendar year. Commitment, professionalism and ingenuity are cornerstones of the value NECA contractors provide to their customers and the awards showcase these qualities at the national level.

The competition considers 13 different market sectors based on the type of project and dollar value. Projects are judged on aesthetics, application, difficulty, innovation and originality.

In August, I.B. Abel won its first NECA National Award in the Substation/Interconnection category for a 69kV Substation Hub in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Then, in September, the local NECA Chapter, Penn-Del-Jersey, announced the local Project Excellence Award winners. I.B. Abel won Best Substation/Interconnection category for the same 69kV Substation Hub in Harrisburg, PA, Best Overhead Transmission Project for the Northern Lehigh Reliability Project and for the first time, Best Electrical/Commercial category for a new multinational supply chain warehouse and distribution facility in Harrisburg, PA.

These accomplishments over the past year continue to show the value we have for our customers and community through our lines of businesses. We guarantee a successful partnership by working through our project delivery process.

Congratulations to the entire I.B. Abel team for these successful and well-deserved achievements!
