The project included the modification to the bus work inside the existing sub station to isolate the normal power source from the local utility to the new emergency power source from the new generator. I.B. Abel installed and wired a new 2400 volt switchgear and transfer switch and installed a cable tray system for cabling to and from the new generator.
I.B. Abel also installed a complete electrical system for a new generator building for building power, lighting, heating, generator power and controls for louvers, battery charger and generator instrumentation devices.
