The project involved the electrical construction of a new air cooled chiller test facility through installation of a medium voltage overhead power distribution system which included wood poles, cross arms, guy wires, bollards, cutout switches, fuses and a high voltage metering system.
I.B. Abel installed power and control for test stand equipment such as chillers, humidifiers, fans and process instrumentation.
I.B. Abel custom designed the power, control and lighting systems that were installed within the test facility. The systems required wiring methods that would withstand extreme temperature variances in order to accommodate a variety of test conditions.
I.B. Abel also designed and installed a flexible cable system for a variety of test requirements.
